Welcome to Golden Thai Massage. We provide in-studio, non-RMT massage services in Abbotsford and Chilliwack. Our focus is relaxation, comfort, and easing day-to-day tension—we do not diagnose, treat, or make medical claims.

1) Studio Policies

1.1 Scope of Service (Non-RMT)

Our services are non-RMT. We do not issue RMT receipts or bill extended health insurance. Sessions are for general relaxation and comfort only; no medical claims are made or implied.

Golden Thai Massage is a professional, strictly non-sexual practice. Any sexual remarks, requests, or behavior will end the session immediately and the full fee will apply. This policy protects clients and staff and helps maintain a respectful space.

  • Your choice, your comfort. Clothing-on sessions are welcome (athletic wear is ideal).

  • For oil-based sessions we use professional draping so you remain covered.

  • Undressing is never required, and we can work around clothing (including bras) on request.

We check in throughout the session; you may ask to adjust pressure, position, or pace at any time.

Please tell us about any preferences, recent procedures, or general concerns so we can set up the room thoughtfully (pillows, bolsters, chair-based positioning). We may modify or postpone a session if something would make the visit uncomfortable or unsafe. We do not provide clinical advice.

  • Phone-first booking: call your preferred studio for same-day or future times.

  • You may receive SMS/email reminders when you opt in.

1.6 Cancellations, Late Arrivals & No-Shows

  • 24-hour cancellation window. Please cancel or reschedule ≥24 hours in advance.

  • Late arrivals may shorten the session to avoid impacting the next guest; the full fee applies.

  • Late cancels / no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the session fee. If something urgent occurs, call us—we aim to be reasonable.

Common session lengths are 30 / 45 / 60 / 90 / 120 minutes. Current rates are quoted by phone at booking. Tipping is optional.

1.8 Minors

We welcome minors with parent/guardian consent. A parent/guardian must remain available on site; staying in the room is welcome if it helps the child feel comfortable.

1.9 Accessibility & Assistance

Tell us in advance if you prefer side-lying, semi-reclined or need help with transfers. We’ll prepare the room and pace the visit accordingly.

1.10 In-Studio Only

We do not provide mobile or hotel/in-room services. Please visit our studios in Abbotsford or Chilliwack.

1.11 Payment

We accept [cards/cash]. Card processing is handled by a secure third-party processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Gift cards are redeemable for services, not cash, and follow the terms provided at purchase.

Please keep valuables with you; Golden Thai Massage is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

We can coordinate in-studio blocks for organizations (e.g., back-to-back appointments). For details, contact either studio and ask about B2B scheduling.

2) Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws (including BC PIPA). This section explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and your choices.

  • Contact & booking details (name, phone, email, preferred studio/time).

  • Appointment history (dates, session length).

  • Preference notes you choose to share (e.g., pressure range, positioning).

  • Payment confirmations/tokens from our processor (not full card numbers).

  • Website analytics (basic, non-identifying usage data; see Cookies).
  • To book, confirm, and manage appointments and reminders you opt into.

  • To understand preferences and provide a comfortable, tailored experience.

  • To maintain accurate records for day-to-day operations.

We rely on your consent for information you provide directly (e.g., preferences, reminders). We also process limited information as part of our legitimate interests to run the studio (scheduling, payment, service quality). You may withdraw consent to non-essential communications at any time.

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with service providers that help us operate (scheduling, payments, email/SMS). These providers must protect your information and use it only as instructed by Golden Thai Massage.

Our website may use functional cookies and basic analytics to understand site performance. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies. If we add additional analytics or remarketing tools in the future, we will update this page and present choices.

2.7 Storage, Location & Retention

  • Booking records and preference notes are stored in our studio systems with access controls.

  • Payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store full card data.

  • We keep records only as long as needed for operations and legal/accounting requirements, then securely delete or anonymize them.

Where applicable, you may request to access, correct, or delete your information, or to withdraw consent to optional communications. Contact us (see 2.11) and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. While no method is 100% secure, we routinely review and improve our measures.

2.10 Children’s Privacy

For minors, we collect only information necessary to book and provide a session, with parent/guardian consent.
